“Muslim Scholars” Delegation Visits Mansour, Stresses on Lebanon-Syria Future Unity

The Muslim Scholars Gathering in Lebanon praised Lebanon's stance at the Arab League, refusing the Arab League sanctions imposed on Syria, as the latter represents a pro-resistance country, which also refuses to surrender to the Zionist enemy.
During its visit to Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour, the Muslim Scholars Gathering delegation, led by Sheikh Ahmad al-Zein, stressed on the "importance of upholding the future Lebanon-Syria unity, because any disturbance in the Syrian stability, Lebanon will be affected. Therefore Lebanon's national, economic, political, and security interest would be to stand by Syria in confronting the western and Zionist attempts to strike its unity and stability."
After the meeting, Sheikh Zein stated, "We are honored and delighted to visit Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour to reaffirm our position regarding conflicts spread in Lebanon and all Arab countries, especially sectarian conflicts."
"We have come here to confirm our commitment to the unity among Muslims, Sunnis and Shiites, also the national unity between Muslims and Christians; a unity which therefore supports the Islamic and national resistance against the Zionist enemy," Sheikh al-Zein iterated.
"We urge all Arab and Islamic countries to be united and reject sectarian division, especially in light of these difficult circumstances witnessed in the whole Arab region," Sheikh al-Zein further added.
