This morning, a UNIFIL patrol traveling at the outskirts of Tyre was targeted by an explosion ... five peacekeepers have been wounded as a result," UNIFIL spokesperson Andrea Tenenti clarified.
An official security source informed that "the bomb was hidden under dirt on the side of the road and was detonated as the soldiers were driving by in a Jeep at an intersection in the eastern part of the southern city."
