Hizbullah International Relations Official Ammar Moussawi received UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon's Deputy Special Coordinator for Lebanon Robert Watkins, and discussed with him the latest developments on the local levels, especially the recent security incidents that occurred in South Lebanon.

During the meeting, Moussawi confirmed that the Lebanese army is responsible for maintaining security and stability in the south, with the cooperation of the UNIFIL troops. He further stressed that "Hizbullah rebuffs anything that might jeopardize the internal stability, especially in the south".

On another hand, Moussawi referred to the last briefing presented by UN Secretary General before the UN Security Council over resolution 1701, saying it is not balanced, and therefore does not reflect the image of the situation in the south, particularly regarding the constant "Israeli" violations.

Also, Hizbullah International Relations Official denounced the "dangerous "Israeli" violation in installing underground espionage stations between the southern villages of Deir Kifa and Srifa".
He believed that through these repetitive violations, one must take into consideration the "Israeli" interest in sabotaging the security, and destabilizing the region.
