Abu Zeinab: Conspiracy against Syria Aims at Tearing It into Territories, Sects
Member of Hizbullah's Political Council Ghaleb Abu Zeinab stressed that "some people are seeking to topple the Syrian regime and to tear Syria's territories into scattered parts according to sectarian distribution."
"They wanted to change the situation and then break up the whole region in face of revolutions so that fragments expand among people of the same country ensuring "Israel's" control of the balance of power."
Noting to "some people's link to US and Turkish plans that want to influence the region and to lead to the fragmentation of Iraq into Sunni, Shiite and Kurdish," Abu Zeinab stressed that "the plan will extend horizontally to Syria and then largely to Saudi Arabia, with the fragmentation of Libya into tribal conflicts."
"This is fully in sake of "Israel" allowing it to end the Palestinian issue and the establishment of an alternative homeland for the Palestinians in Jordan," he confirmed.
He further asserted that "when Hizbullah stands by Syria, it is standing by the side of reform and change, as well as the interests of the Syrian people."
"We don't want to waste the Syrians' future that the US and all the trainees want to turn it into a place torn in every direction," Abu Zainab added mentioning that "when we say that the resistance and opposition axis is the target of what is happening in Syria or in Iran, we say that because we see that they want to bring down this axis so that "Israel" is to end the Palestinian issue as well as al-Quds."
