Fadlallah Asks Government on Action against US Intelligence Officers in Awkar

The Chairman of the Committee on Information and Communication MP Hassan Fadlallah asked the government on the steps taken almost one and a half months on the US admittance of espionage activities against the resistance via media outlets especially that this issue is of national security importance.

Facts revealed on this regard. He further asked the Foreign Ministry on the steps it took concerning the expulsion of some US diplomats from the US embassy who have been serving as spies and have carried out several undercover activities in Lebanon.
He also noted that such acts of violence violate the Vienna provisions and foster the Lebanese law

According to Hizbullah revelations, Fadlallah noted that US Intelligence officer Daniel Mcfilly , heads and directs espionage activities in Lebanon. In this context, he asked the Lebanese government about the procedures it took against those who violated the security and sovereignty of Lebanon.

He also questioned what the government has made concerning the officers using the Awkar embassy for espionage. He itterated that the government should identify the steps required to preserve the country's sovereignty, security and stability. "
