Bahraini Youth Hit, Tortured to Death
The 18-year-old Bahraini Mohamed Ibrahim Yaaqoub who was martyred overnight while in police custody was tortured to death.
Following clashes between pro-democracy protesters and police in the village of Sitra, Yaaqoub was detained on Wednesday
Mattar Ibrahim, a member of the opposition al-Wefaq party, said police notified the 18-year-old's family at 1am on Thursday of the boy's death.
Police in the Gulf kingdom's Central Governorate claimed that "Yaaqoub was detained over acts of vandalism in the area of Sitra."
In a statement posted by the interior ministry on Twitter, the ministry stated that the martyr "died in hospital and the public prosecution has been notified."
A YouTube video shows Yaaqoub, running away as two police vehicles chase him.
The former opposition MP said security forces then detained Yaaqoub, and tortured him in a yard opposite the Sitra police station, which was seen by witnesses.
"Later he was tortured in front of the police station. Many people saw him [get tortured], and we met with some witnesses who confirmed that he was tortured outside the police station," Ibrahim said.
Yaaqoub's death came after the body of a protester, identified as Saeed Fakher, was found one day after his arrest, while horrific marks on his body indicated that he was the last of the protesters to die under torture in prison.
The reports of deaths come just weeks before demonstrators are expected to mark the one year anniversary of protests demanding political reform and freedom.

And the peole of the region all know that they just slaves of "Israel" and US. They act in a manner that it seems that no countary with name of Bahrain or Yeman is not existing on the earth!!!!
