Heightened security was in place all over the Zionist entity, with the emphasis on public places, and a large police presence in the Old City of al-Quds.
The "Israeli" military also closed off crossing points to and from the West Bank until Saturday night.

However, a military statement announced that "Israel" has allowed only 500 of the Gaza Strip's and 20,000 from West Bank Christian community to enter the celebrations in the Holy city.

"Israeli" Head of the Police Operations Directorate Commander Nisim Mor told "Ynet" that "throughout the weekend the department will be on Alert Level C," adding that "security assessments will be held throughout the mid-holidays."
In parallel, the so-called "Israeli" Counter Terrorism Bureau has reiterated its travel advisories to Sinai and Turkey.

The "CTB" cited "credible threats to "Israelis" planning to travel to both destinations."
