From Akkar to the capital, Beirut, passing through the Southern coastal road and the Bekaa avenue : the Future Movements' series of attacks continues.

The cover is ready: the death of Sheikh Ahmad Abdul Wahed and his accompanier.

Hours after the Future followers attacked by their arms the Arab Party center in Beirut, Future arms reappeared heavily in Akkar.

This came as the Future political officials continued their escalating tone without taking into consideration the consequences of their sectarian rhetoric.

Mikati: Future's Campaign Reflect Desire to Ruling Power

In response to the Future verbal campaign urging him to resign, Prime Minister Najib Mikati stressed that "the call to make the government resigns has become a must-have synonym used in all Future MPs' statements."
"This forms a reflection to embedded desires to retrieve their ruling position which they consider an undisputable right," Mikati's office said in a statement.

The PM viewed "the Future MPs thought that they have a privileged right to remain in their ruling seats and that no one ought to take it from them."
He further argued that "anyone who dares to take over the ruling power is doomed to suffer the merciless smearing and libel of the Future bloc."
"No one buys the Future double-faced approach any longer," Mikati confirmed.
He also accused some of the Future MPs of encouraging their supporters to take to streets and engage in armed clashes, "the last of which was what happened overnight in Beirut."

"As-Safir" daily commented on the political scene by saying: "The last hours... showed that a decision has been taken to topple Mikati in the street."
"There are attempts to impose new facts on the ground to embarrass the West and the Arabs and to make them pragmatically deal with the new developments," the paper added.

Berri: Unlike Resistance Arms, Recent Arms Presence Threaten Stability

Meanwhile, House Speaker Nabih Berri commented on the recent armed clashes and the spread of heavy weapons in Beirut.
In remarks to "as-Safir" Lebanese daily, Berri stated that "these weapons were used in real battles that terrorized people."
"This type of absurd weapon constitutes a threat to civil peace and the political life," the speaker confirmed.

He further highlighted that "these weapons are dangerous unlike the resistance arms which will not be used at any internal scene."
"The resistance rockets are to confront "Israel" and can't be used in any other field," Berri reiterated.
The Speaker addressed March 14 forces, particularly the Future Movement, by asking: "What will the owners of the theory "No proportionality [electoral law] under the threat of weapons say after the recent developments?"
"The subsequent incidents in Akkar and Beirut proved the correctness of my call to an urgent dialogue table," Berri stressed.

In the same context, Berri expressed to "ad-Diyar" daily his "deep concern about the dangers stemming from what is happening in Lebanon, especially if this madness in the streets continues."
On the political level, Berri said that " Lebanon will not relinquish the policy of dissociating itself from the Syrian crisis regardless of the internal and external pressure that are being applied."
The Speaker further commented on the warnings issued by some Arab countries against traveling to Lebanon.
"We hope that these moves would be limited and not go beyond applying pressure on Lebanon to change its policy of dissociation toward the Syrian events," he added.

In parallel, "as-Safir" reported that "foreign Minister Adnan Mansour is scheduled to hold talks on Tuesday with diplomats of the four Gulf countries [Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait] that have urged their citizens to leave Lebanon.
"The current security tension in Lebanon is provisional and does not require such decisions," Mansour is expected to tell the diplomats.

Secret Investigations on Akkar Incident

On another level, a military source informed "as-Safir" that "the secret investigations with the officer and the soldiers arrested for the killing of Sheikh Abdul Wahid "is being fully transparent in order to detect all the circumstances surrounding the incident."

For its part, "al-Akhbar" daily learned that "the investigation unveiled the following:

"The military officers received rigid orders to inspect vehicles to prevent the flow of arms to Halba festivals," the paper mentioned.
It added that "the two dark glass cars arrived at al-Kwaykhat check point."
According to the information " the military personnel showed respect to Sheikh Abdul Wahid which made him approve the inspection of the second car."
"As the soldiers found three guns in the two cars, two pistols and 500 shots, the army officer contacted his leadership," the daily added.
It clarified that "the bodyguard moved fast with the car and started shooting on the army checkpoint."

Al-Mawlawi's Fate Tuesday

In parallel, the military is expected to decide Tuesday on the request of the release of Shadi al-Mawlawi, who was arrested ten days ago in Tripoli by the General Security Service, on charges of belonging to a terrorist organization.

"An-Nahar" diplomatic sources predicted that "al- Mawlawi will be released."
This came as "as-Safir" reported that " in the initial investigation, al-Mawlawi admitted that he owns al-Qaeda codes.
For his part, Lebanese Army (LA) Commander General Jean Qahwaji stressed that " the LA doesn't want the split of blood."

"The LA is the son of Akkar and all Lebanese territories," he confirmed.
Qahwaji reiterated that "the military institution is doing its job without any calculations," and noted that " it won't allow things to be out of control."
"That's what the LA is firm in controlling security," he stressed.
The Head of the LA highlighted that " the LA tried to determine without blood. That's why it absorbed the movement of the street without the blood."
