Imam Khamenei Attends Ashoura Ceremonies

The mourning ceremonies marking the martyrdom of the third Imam Hussein (pbuh) were held at Imam Khomeini Husseiniya in Tehran at the presence of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei.
Throughout Iran, millions of people mourned the Ashoura all across Iran.
Mourners dressed in black took to the streets and also gathered in mosques to grieve the martyrdom of Imam Hussein.
