’ISIL’ Removes Statues of Virgin Mary, Announces ’Sharia Courts’ in Mosul

Witnesses told CNN that the so-called "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" [ISIL] terrorist group removed statues of Virgin Mary, in addition to announcing that it has decided to form so-called Sharia courts in Iraq's northern city of Mosul on Sunday.
Witnesses said the "ISIL" militant group reportedly removed statues of Virgin Mary, CNN reported.
They added that "ISIL" members paraded around the city in vehicles, announcing on loudspeakers that it has decided to form so-called Islamic Sharia courts in Mosul.
Furthermore, "ISIL" has begun imposing so-called Sharia law in the towns it controls.
The "ISIL" militant group took over Mosul, Iraq's second-largest city earlier this month [June].
