Kuwait: No Concrete Evidence against Moghniyeh
Source; Al Manar TV, 01-04-2008
Resigned Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Mohammad Al Sabah said that the Kuwaiti government doesn't have "concrete evidence" charging Hizbullah military leader martyr Imad Moghniyeh to be submitted to the court.
Al Sabah stressed in an interview with "El Rai" local newspaper that "courts and concrete evidence are something different from emotions and feelings".
"The government will only consider Moghniyeh's mourning ceremony and let the legal process take its course," Al Sabah said, ruling out the existence of an alleged Hizbullah group in Kuwait.
Kuwait police have arrested several lawmakers and participants in the mourning ceremony held two months ago in the Kuwaiti capital for martyr Moghniyeh accusing them of being affiliated with the so called Hizbullah-Kuwait group.
"It's the matter of broad freedom values in Kuwait as long as things don't reach incitement," the resigned Kuwaiti Prime minister concluded.
