The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, a coalition of Iraqi anti-terror resistance factions, has warned European nations against siding with the United States and “Israel” in the ongoing war of aggression against Iran.

In a statement released Thursday, the group said that “rogue and bullying powers” have united in an attempt to undermine the dignity and sovereignty of free nations, spread corruption across the world, and impose their will on independent peoples.

The resistance emphasized that such schemes will ultimately fail because steadfast and determined fighters will never bow to what it described as arrogant global powers, regardless of the scale of their pressure.

The Iraqi resistance factions said the “Israeli” entity and the United States are working to drag their allies into the aggression against Iran. They warned that any country that takes part in the offensive would be considered an enemy of the region’s nations and sanctities. As a result, their forces and assets in Iraq and across West Asia would be treated as legitimate targets in retaliation.

The warning comes as several European countries—including the United Kingdom, France and Germany—have indicated readiness to support Washington and “Israel” in their ongoing aggression against Iran. France has already deployed an aircraft carrier to the region.

Meanwhile, Iraqi resistance fighters announced they had successfully intercepted and shot down a US MQ-9 Reaper drone over Salahuddin Province, describing the operation as part of their ongoing efforts to confront hostile forces in the region.

The United States and “Israel” launched their assault on Iran on February 28 in what Tehran describes as an unprovoked act of aggression, assassinating Ali Khamenei along with a number of senior military commanders. Since then, attacks have reportedly targeted various sites across the country, including schools, hospitals, and sports complexes.

In response, Iran has been carrying out retaliatory operations, launching waves of missiles and drones at targets inside the “Israeli”-occupied territories and against American military bases throughout the region. Tehran has vowed that the response will continue until the aggressors are punished.
