Former MP Emile Emile Lahoud, considered in a statement published today that, "The Resistance and Liberation day anniversary came within better inner circumstances", referring that stances recently published confirm a change in stances regarding the resistance.

Lahoud congratulated leaders of the resistance, and all those who took part in the liberation, which he said "came as a result of sacrifices throughout years, where martyrs of the resistance and the Lebanese army sacrificed themselves", thanking all forces who helped in defeating the "Israeli" enemy.

Former MP said, "Attempts to scale this victory, which were repeated in July 2006, through the political targeting of Hizbullah, come as a fulfillment of foreign desires revealed day after day while the Lebanese feel the pride of the resistance's new formula with "Israel", which helps in protecting Lebanese borders".

Lahoud also referred that who claims excess of care on the sovereignty, is invited to state a stance scolding the "Israeli" constant aggressions and air space violations, instead of targeting the resistant who sacrificed their lives to protect Lebanon.

Emile Emile Lahoud stressed that the Lebanese army deserves to be praised due to its leadership's stances on one hand, and to its role in the south in another hand, especially when it comes to revealing "Israeli" spy networks.

Lahoud considered that "This bond between the army and the resistance is the best defense strategy compared to all suggestions given in this sense", believing that every drop of blood on the ground is more effective that any press or media stances.
