Hizbullah and Amal leadership expressed their satisfaction over the municipal elections results in the South and Nabatiyeh, which assured the success of their agreement with social, family, and political elements, and which resulted with municipalities that reflect the highest representation in the southern towns and villages.

Hizbullah and Amal leaderships held a central meeting on Thursday night, attended by political assistants to Parliament speaker Nabih Berri and Hizbullah secretary general Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, MP Ali Hassan Khalil, and Hussein Al Khalil, and officials in the South.

The meeting assessed the municipal elections in South and Nabatiyeh, where both leaderships expressed their appreciations to the high participation in the elections.

They considered this participation an indication to challenging the "Israeli" enemy and the maneuvers he did on the elections day.

Moreover, Southern villages' celebrations of liberation on the borders with occupied Palestine, assured people's awareness of the importance of the democratic process as much as their awareness to the importance of resistance and liberation.

In this occasion, both parts addressed high appreciation to the people's performance, and to the efforts made to accomplish the agreement process.

Both parts agreed on proceeding the post elections stage, in order to achieve an integral shape in the municipalities' performance in a way that would lead to development in all villages.
