The Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council of Hizbullah, His Eminence Sheikh Nabil Qaouk stressed that "bets-of those who are accustomed to foreign tutelage and who are addicted to hearing US dictations in "March 14" forces- are completely wrong about the events in Syria."

"They were involved in targeting Syria's stability and national unity, as they were caught red-handed in the crime of arming, financing and inciting against Syria," Qaouk added.

He clarified that "this team wants to take Lebanon as a platform to stab Syria in the back by yielding to US orders so that it ("March14") would have a political and informational foreign role in managing the battle against Syria parallel to its internal operations of arms smuggling and money transmission."

Sheikh Qaouk, who was speaking during the celebration of the anniversary of Divine Victory of July 2006 war, explained that "March 14" forces have changed their strategy from "Lebanon first" to "Syria first".

"They are betting on the Syrian crisis as a pathway for their return to power because they are bankrupted and their bets on "Israeli" war, an internal strife, an international tribunal and decisions failed and they were confined to betting on the Syrian crisis," he clarified.

Pointing out that "their ("March 14" forces) neutrality with "Israel" and their hostility to Syria is a major national sin, and playing in the fate of Lebanon," His Eminence wondered about "this team's alternatives if there bets failed and the Syrian regime survived and Syria returned to its stability."

In a parallel context, Qaouk also said that "the Resistance was able after five years on the war to prove a new equation, which is "oil-for-oil" equation, and to deter the "Israelis" and their missiles, chain their hands and prevent them from coming near Lebanon's oil wealth."

""Israel" is neither betting on international laws nor does it consider mediation and international negotiations to stop the piracy of our oil wealth, but it can never underestimate the power of the "oil-for-oil" equation which was declared, established, and consecrated by the Secretary General of Hizbullah," His Eminence concluded.
