Lebanese Defense Minister Expresses Readiness for Further Cooperation with Iran
Lebanese Defense Minister Fayez Ghoson announced Lebanon's readiness for further wide cooperation with Iran on various levels.
During a meeting held with Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Ghadanfar Rokonabadi, Minister Ghoson hailed the progress achieved in Iran, indicating it is due to the country's rich and ancient culture.
Furthermore, Lebanese Defense Minister expressed his country's appreciation for Iran's support to Lebanon in the most adverse condition, affirming that Iran has become a role model regarding loyalty to the Palestinian issue.
On his part, Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon referred to Iran's latest achievements in different areas including the military field, adding that his country is willing to cooperate and exchange experiences with Beirut.
At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Rokonabadi handed to Minister Ghoson an invitations from his Iranian counterpart to visit Iran.
