Fadlallah: STL is the Accused, Not the Resistance

"Loyalty to Resistance Bloc" MP Hassan Fadlallah said on Thursday that the
Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) "has become the accused after unveiling its indictment."
"The tribunal has become the accused, and not the Resistance," Fadlallah said.
He asked: "Is it possible that after 6 years that the International Tribunal provides the same scenario, which was published 6 years ago in various media outlets?"
In an interview with New TV, MP added that "the so-called telecommunication evidence submitted by STL Prosecutor Daniel Bellemare is clearly unreliable."
"This indictment is dangerous and incites domestic strife.... it is politicized par excellence," Fadlallah stressed.
"Can the resistance be tired in an "Israeli" Court to get its right?" the MP wondered considering "the tribunal's decision a political one."
Assuring that Prime Minister Najib Mikati "knows how to act", Fadlallah emphasized that "the government is neither in a difficult situation nor in an embarrassing situation."
"Hizbullah does not put pressure on PM Najib Mikati who is acting within his national responsibilities and duties," MP concluded.
