Haj Hassan: Gaza’s Hangmen Running STL Investigation

Lebanese Minister of Agriculture, Hussein Hajj Hassan, said that "Lebanon is passing through a sensitive period as the opposition is continuously attacking the government with or without a reason."
"I was in former Prime Minister Saad Hariri's government, and I'm today in the government of PM Najib Mikati, and even the things that we agreed on in Hariri's government, concerning financial, economic, or social policies, are being opposed today," he added.
Stressing that "the current opposition directed the country to its current situation," the minister wondered "Is there a tribunal in the world that within five years it changed the procedure rules and evidences more than seven times during its work?"
"Who appointed the tribunal's judges? Is not it the UN Security Council? That means that the US which is in reality "Israel" did so."
"Those who say that we should defend ourselves before the STL are proposing that we are tried before UNSC and US appointed judges, while the head of the court is proud of being a good friend of "Israel"," he clarified asking that "doesn't this mean that the resistance is tried by a US-"Israeli" court?"
Asserting that "UNSC will not let the investigation go towards "Israel"," Haj Hassan pointed out that "Bellemare says that circumstantial evidence is stronger than direct evidence, I want a judge in the world who agrees with this, and Hizbullah presented circumstantial evidences leading to the fact that "Israel" and committed this crime."
"Gaza's hangmen are the ones who are now running the international investigation," the minister added calling that "any member of "March 14" asks Bellemare, Brammertz, and Mehlis about the identity of the ten states that did not
cooperate with the international investigation."
