Mansour: Lebanon Rejects “Israeli” Geographic Coordinates in Lebanese Waters

Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Adnan Mansour sent a letter to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in which he expressed that Lebanon rejected the "Israeli" geographical coordinates presented to the UN Secretariat.
Mansour affirmed that the "Israeli" demarcated coordinates, which "Israel" believes are its own, belong to the northern part of the Lebanese territorial waters and special economic zone, and therefore this is a clear violation and usurpation of Lebanon's sovereign and economic rights.
Furthremore, Mansour estimated the violated area to be at 860 meters square, and therefore this step would put international peace and security under risk.
In his letter, Minister Mansour further confirmed Lebanon's rejection of the "Israeli" coordinates, calling upon the UN Secretary General to take all appropriate measures to avoid any conflict.
