Moussawi Meets Williams: Government Has Full Capacity to Meet all Challenges
Hizbullah International Relations official Ammar Moussawi received on Wednesday UN Secretary General's Special Coordinator to Lebanon Michael Williams, accompanied by his political advisor Diego Zoria.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the latest issues and developments, and praised the consensus reached by the Lebanese government on the issue of electricity.
Moussawi and Williams agreed that currently at this point, it is very important to work on guaranteeing internal security in light of the developments and events witnessed in the region.
On his part, Ammar Moussawi confirmed, "The government has full capacity to meet all challenges it faces, contrary to the stakes of some parties".
Furthermore, Moussawi referred that Syria is a neighboring state and Lebanon can only work on supporting its stability. He also added, "The attempts of some Lebanese political groups to interfere in Syrian affairs will have negative repercussions that do not serve the Lebanese national interest".
