Qassem: Not to Be US Tools, Ready to Confront any ’’Israeli’’ Aggression
Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem stressed that "if Lebanese people decide on something, the US will accept it despite its objections."
During an honorary graduation ceremony, His Eminence viewed that "If we decide on something, the US will accept it despite its will because we are the kind of people who decide for our country while keeping our heads high, and we will never be tools in the hands of the US and its project."
Clarifying that the US exercised a lot of pressure to prevent the formation of the government, and tried hard to prevent it from drafting a ministerial statement, Qassem noted that the ministerial statement that was issued against all US' views.
"The Lebanese government must invest its capabilities and benefit from the current political stability especially that it upholds wide representation capacity among the Lebanese public and gains a big respect on the regional and international levels," he added.
Advising "the government to benefit from the present political stability," Qassem called it "to fight corruption in public institutions so as to avoid facing problems that already encountered the earlier governments."
On the electoral law, Sheikh Qassem declared that "Hizbullah is open to all discussions and prefers to hold them in closed rooms."
He also addressed "those who want to save "Israel" from the Lebanese resistance" by emphasizing that ""Israel" will never be saved from Hizbullah, and you will never be saved from us or from "Israel" and it is better for you to reconsider your calculations."
""Israel" today is concerned and we are not worried, "Israel" takes seriously the resistance's threats and preparations," the Deputy Secretary General added assuring the Lebanese people that the "the resistance has completed its preparations and finished its equipment to confront "Israel" if the latter thinks one day of attacking us."
Reiterating the importance of the "army, people, and resistance" equation, he called on everyone to quit feeble positions.
