Rokonabadi: Iran Ready to Arm Lebanon to Confront “Israel”

Iran's ambassador to Lebanon Ghadanfar Rokon Abadi considered that the situation in Syria is improving, noting "there are popular intensive meetings with officials of the Syrian regime. This happens at the time Bashar Al Assad continues with his reforms.
Following his meeting with Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour on Tuesday, Roknabadi avowed the situation in Syria was en route to mitigation, He said intensive meetings between popular delegations on one side and President Bashar Assad and officials on the other were being held.
On a different note, the ambassador reiterated his country's readiness to gear up the Lebanese army, and indicated that this matter was on-the-table between concerned parties.
Besides, the pair reportedly followed up on the 27 agreements inked last year between Lebanon and Iran, as well as on most recent developments in the Middle East region. He reiterated that Iran is ready to arm and support the Lebanese army especially in presence of the "Israeli" occupation and in the middle of the current circumstances.
Rokonabadi also stressed that the Islamic Republic is willing to help all the oppressed in the world who aim at defending their rights.
He also assured that as long as there are lands and territories occupied by the usurper enemy in Lebanon and Palestine, and as long as these two countries face daily threats and violations, Iran will keep declaring its readiness to support the two countries in face of the cancerous "Israeli" enemy.
