Syrian Ambassador: Syria Persistent in Reforms, Internal Dialogue

The Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdul Karim Ali called upon the Lebanese public not to be victims of media propaganda and exaggeration regarding the incidents on the Syrian-Lebanese borders.
On this level, he indicated that Lebanese investigations haven't yet proved what some parties are trying to leak. He clarified that "the Syrian army is pursuing those breaching security inside the Syrian territories".
On the sidelines of his meeting with Head of Change and Reform Bloc MP Michel Aoun, Ambassador Abdul Karim stressed that dialogue and communication between the Lebanese and Syrian leaders are ongoing. He also urged the security firms in Lebanon to be cooperative because border-line security is a mutual interest for both countries and peoples.
Moreover, Syrian Ambassador in Lebanon confirmed that Syria will get out of this dilemma stronger with its resistance-supporting nature, refusing to abandon its rights and occupied territories.
He went on to say that his country is persistent in its reforms and internal dialogue led by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
Ambassador Abdul Karim also believed that the million-man protests in Damascus and Aleppo have showed the level of popular support to the Syrian regime and the ongoing reforms, and against the foreign interference in Syria's internal affairs.
