Head of Arab Tawhid Party Wiam Wahhab stated that any foreign military interference in Syria will be the "doomsday" of the region, especially that the axis of resistance from Tehran to Palestine will launch strikes on US bases installed in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and "Israel".

"We are heading towards the biggest battle in two or five years". Wahhab warned in this regard.

In an interview with al-Jadeed TV, Wahhab confirmed there is a strict Iranian decision to prevent the collapse of the Syrian regime. He further stressed that the "Saudi-Iranian cooperation is essential for the interests of the nation, especially during the current period".

Furthermore, he believed that "the Islamic brotherhood are groups created by British intelligence, and were then handed to the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency), and now play an essential role in the US intelligence".

Regarding Head of National Struggle Front, MP Walid Jumblatt's latest positions, Wahhab noted, "I don't think talks between Jumblatt and Damascus are over, and my sources say that talks between Minister Ghazi Aridi and Damascus are still ongoing".

"I hope this [status] would remain, and if there were any role I can play to prevent halt in communication, then I am ready, because this serves the interests of the Druze and Syria", Head of Arab Tawhid Party indicated.

Hoping that Lebanon would stay immunized from the chaos in the region, Wahhab affirmed that the situation in Lebanon will remain the same, because it is not possible to form another government before the parliamentary elections in 2013.

Moreover, he excluded a possible resignation of Jumblatt's ministers, describing them as "successful candidates who represent the majority of the Druze".

On the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) level, Wahhab added, "The STL funding will not take place in the cabinet". Wahhab warned that "if Ministers of MP Talal Areslan, the Free Patriotic Movement, MP Suleiman Franjiyeh, Amal Movement, and Hizbullah would vote in favor of funding the STL, then I will launch a campaign against them".
