Former MP Emile Emile Lahoud viewed that "some people in the current government wants to keep the country as a prisoner for his personal communal and political accounts even if the price was to shift to the no decision government."

In a statement released Friday, Lahoud noted that "the financial distress some people are suffering with interrupted finance supply received from one Gulf States, explains the political positions of these people."

Commenting on the Syrian Developments, Lahoud asked "Does any of the Arab delegation members, who visited Damascus own the ability to move tenth of the demonstrators supporting their leadership?"

"Does Mrs. Clinton warnings and the Qatari diplomat promises benefit to intimidate the masses?" he wondered, asserting that "the Syrian people said its word and send its message through the millions gatherings in more than city."

Lahoud also stressed that "the plot is about to fall, as Syria proved once again, that it's are stronger than statements and resolutions written in some foreign capitals."

"Those who vowed not to return to Lebanon unless via Damascus are going to suffer a long waiting," he concluded.
