Iranian Ambassador Calls for a Unified Stance Against US-Zionist Schemes
Iranian Ambassador in Lebanon Ghadanfar Rokon Abadi visited on Monday the Secretary General of the Tashnak party, Hovig Mekhitarian, where both sides discussed the latest political developments in Lebanon and the region.
Ambassador Rokon Abadi called upon unifying the stance against the US-Zionist schemes that aim at dividing between the countries and nations of the region.
"This is what we have seen in the latest US slander against Iran, accusing it of plotting to assassinate the Saudi Ambassador in Washington", the Iranian Ambassador indicated.
Moreover, Ambassador Rokon Abadi reiterated his country's position in supporting the Syrian nation and leadership, which has launched its reform program.
He noted that the campaign against Syria is not related to democracy or Human Rights, but rather aims at striking an important model of resistance supporters.
Rokon Abadi confirmed that the Islamic Republic of Iran strictly denounced any foreign interference in Syria's internal affairs, because the Syria people and leadership are those who should decide on a future for their country.
