Fneish: Any War Attempt Will Rebound on Launcher, Anti-Syria Campaign Will Fail
Lebanese Minister of Administrative Development Mohammad Fneish believed that the decision adopted by the Arab League (AL) expressed its violation of the AL pact, where the decision announced the transformation of the AL role, becoming a cooperation council.
He believed that any attempt to ignite war in the region will rebound on those who launch it, or even those who contribute in escalating it.
Moreover, Minister Fneish added that the campaign targeting Syria will fail, because the will of the people will be stronger than the inciting, misleading conflict schemes.
Furthermore, he indicated that suspending Syria's membership stands part of the plan to collapse what's left of hope to carry out a joint Arab achievement that would enhance the popular movements. "This is what the US administration seeks", Fneish stressed.
In a ceremony commemorating Hizbullah's Martyr Day and Eid al-Ghadir, Minister Fneish stressed, "Who seeks reforms in Syria does not obstruct restoring the calm or conducting reforms, because the role of the AL should promote the Arab plans and defend their rights, and not depend on the US policies".
Also, he called for completing the provisions of the initiative which was targeted by the US administration and other western countries. He added that the aforementioned initiative was sentenced to failure before it was issued.
"If there were a desire on the success of the initiative, it would have given the opportunity to be implemented, instead of listening to the so-called US concern to besiege Syria and other pro-resistance countries", Minister Fneish went on to say.
Lebanese Minister of Administrative Development noted, "The aim from the current escalating campaign against Syria and Iran and all resistance countries, is to put out the glow of their role, and to put an end to the resistance path in order to ensure the control of the arrogant powers".
He further added that the said anti-Syrian campaign seeks to ensure the continuity of dependency to the Zionist occupier, and let through the US scheme in the region.
