The appointment of Maj. Gen Moshe Edri to Zionist police chief was shot down by an “Israeli” government vetting panel, the body announced Friday.

After taking a polygraph test at the request of the Senior Appointments Advisory Committee, known as the Goldberg Commission, the panel said it would not recommend Edri for the chief of police role as doing so would “damage public trust in the police.”

Edri, 51, is a former commander of “Israel” Police’s Tel Aviv and occupied al-Quds districts.
