Hajj Hassan calls on all parties to accept the 2009 election results
Source: Nowlebanon.com, 28-9-2008
Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Hussein Hajj Hassan said that the discussions regarding the electoral law during Saturday's parliamentary session were "interesting and fruitful."
During a ceremony in honor of successful students in Nabatiyeh on Saturday, he called for further reconciliations in order to reduce tension so that parties could communicate despite their different political opinions and agendas.
Hajj Hassan said that Lebanon should witness a new phase of political communication based on democracy. He called on all parties to accept the result of the ballot box during the 2009 parliamentary elections "no matter what," because he said that national partnership strengthens stability, and assists the army and the Resistance to counter "Israeli" threats.
Hajj Hassan added that the cabinet should solve economic and social difficulties.
