"Israeli" air strike kills three Islamic Jihad men in Gaza

"Israel" killed a top Islamic Jihad commander in the Gaza Strip on Monday, the militant group said. The "Israeli" attack on a car in the Gaza Strip on Monday killed at least three Palestinian militants and wounded two bystanders, medical workers and witnesses said.
The air strike in the besieged Gaza Strip came the same day as dozens of countries and organizations met in Paris to donate money toward the creation of a Palestinian state.
Witnesses said the car had been carrying gunmen from the Islamic Jihad militant group.
An "Israeli" military spokeswoman said "Israel" had carried out an attack in Gaza but gave no other details.
The persistent clashes between Palestinians in Gaza and the "Israeli" military have set a sobering backdrop to US-led rapprochement between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and "Israeli" Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
