Hizbullah Renews Solidarity with Palestinian People

Once again, Lebanon witnessed a solidarity activity with the Palestinian nation against the continuous "non-human" blockade in the Gaza strip.

On Wednesday, Hizbullah organized a solidarity meeting with Palestinians at Al-Saha restaurant in Beirut's southern suburb amid a political, diplomatic and religious participation from Lebanon and Palestine. The meeting included speeches that generally praised the Palestinian Resistance and called for ending the blockade as soon as possible.

Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem said that what was happening in Gaza was an organized and systematic starving scheme that aims at kneeling the Palestinian Resistance and people and push them towards surrender.

Sheikh Qassem saluted the Resistance's steadfastness in Gaza and condemned the Arab "suspicious" silence, holding Arab leaders the responsibility of the ongoing siege against the Palestinians. His eminence also denounced the international position and tardiness in taking any measure to prevent the Zionist entity of ending the blockade, accusing the international community of standing by "Israel" against Palestinians.

Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General wondered about the reasons that incite Arabs to always blame the Palestinian nation and resistance for "Israeli" atrocities instead of raising the voice and complaining the injustice and unfairness. "Blaming the Resistance and making it equal to the Zionist criminality is tantamount to providing "Israel" with a free gift and encouraging it to proceed with its scheme," Sheikh Qassem warned, calling on Arabs to stop taking such positions.

"Arab leaders and governments are not asked to fight with the Palestinians since Palestinian people can fight and liberate their land alone," his eminence emphasized, but added that "Arab were responsible, they can announce opposition to the "Israeli" savagery and crimes against humanity."

Meanwhile, Sheikh Qassem called Palestinians to unite in order to face the schemes to legalize occupation and prevent "Israel" of exploiting division. His eminence also called to raise the voice in international circles to expose the "Israeli" crimes.

Sheikh Qassem called for an official Arab stance that rejects, pressures and requests "Israel" and the countries which support it to break the siege. His eminence also called Arab people to protest against the tragedy instead of just watching.
