Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun told As-Safir newspaper on Monday that Swiss military academies officially asked him if his proposal on the defense strategy, which he said some criticized for political purposes, could be a course to be taught in military institutions.
He added that a Swiss delegation will visit Lebanon to discuss Aoun's proposal.
"My proposal is due to a conviction that we are discussing a major national issue, related to new generations and Lebanon's future, not related to current political situation," he said.
He concluded that he was open to any serious ideas to improve the proposal despite his confidence that it was the best.
