The head of Hizbullah's politburo, Sayyed Ibrahim Amin al-Sayed said "the next stage is a crucial stage, when we will witness major collapses of these cardboard and paper Arab regimes, which are more like fetuses connected through an umbilical cord in the womb of its mother the United States of America."

He said "these regimes will not emerge to life as independent nations. The only nation that emerged independent in the Gulf is the Islamic Republic of Iran."

His Eminence also spoke about comments on the subject of the journalist Muntazar al-Zaidi who threw shoes at George W. Bush, saying: "the most beautiful commentary I saw on this scene is what the families of American soldiers killed in Iraq did, when they brought in a pair of boots each, placed them in front of the White House, and wrote the names of the soldiers killed in Iraq on them, saying to Bush, ‘all the sacrifices of our children in Iraq are not worth a shoe, and all the sacrifices of our children in Iraq ended in a shoe'."

His Eminence also added that "the worst of tyrants in the world in this era ended with a strike of a shoe, and this is to be a lesson for dictators and for all.

The subject matter here is not about power, weapons, tanks and fighter jets, but about willpower. The will of the rock in Palestine was stronger than the weapons of the Arabs, and the shoes in Iraq were stronger than any weapon".
