Hizbullah Foreign Relations Officer Nawwaf Moussawi accused the so-called majority of breaching an agreement on the Constitutional Council appointments during a religious festival in southern village of Ghaziye.

Moussawi said that the breach is a "precedent after the formation of the new government and the Doha Agreement, and we will not allow its recurrence."
"This council, which some parties aim to turn it into a tool [for their personal ends], should be free from any political attachments," he added.

Moussawi also said that the "forces that had controlled Lebanon for years have violated the agreement that was reached, despite their denials [of doing so]."

Commenting on "Israel's" kidnap of the two Lebanese farmers later last week, he said "we will not stand still regarding this issue ... Lebanon is protected by the arms of its citizens and their will, not by the UN Security Council resolutions or the international guarantees or the armistice."
