Raad emphasizes efforts for reconciliation despite difficulties

Head of the Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc MP Mohammad Raad renewed his support for reconciliation, alongside stressing that the reconciliations currently taking place are not tantamount to a change in alliances and beliefs.

Speaking during a religious ceremony at the southern village of Kfartebnit, Raad said that the general atmosphere in the country was a tranquilization one despite the attempts some are adopting to disturb it.

Raad noted, however, that some frankness meetings were difficult to achieve, given that some who committed crimes and killed people believe "they were fulfilling their national duties."
