Sheikh Qassem: Resistance proved its efficiency in liberating land and defending nation

Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem said that his party opposed "any foreign guardianship of Lebanon."
After meeting with Brazil's Greek Orthodox Bishop Demeskinos Mansour on Wednesday, Qassem said that "Hizbullah supports adhering to the Taif Agreement as a framework for building a strong, capable and fair state."
Qassem said that Hizbullah also supported "the resistance that proved its efficiency in liberating the land and defending the nation."
"Let us allow the people's choice in the next parliamentary elections to be the foundation...of a new government," he said.
