Areslan says Jumblatt will not meet Nasrallah, citing security issues

Minister of Youth and Sport Talal Areslan said that MP Walid Jumblatt will meet a Hizbullah delegation in Khaldeh because Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah could not be present for security difficulties.
He added that Jumblatt has not asked him to mediate with Syrian authorities, but that he would be ready to do so at any time.
He said that Lebanon had no interest in being connected with regional repercussions.
He also said that Lebanese-Syrian relations were special and that he hoped that Saudi Arabia would carry out an important role in consolidating relations between Beirut and Damascus.
