Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Hassan Hoballah said on Saturday that the national opposition had restored the Lebanese people's faith in their state and the Resistance.

"The Opposition has succeeded in achieving important national objectives," Hoballah said.

He said the reconciliations and meetings that are currently taking place are intended to enhance the positive atmosphere that consolidates national unity, stability and civil peace.

"These reconciliations have nothing to do with the upcoming elections and its campaigns," he said.

"We would not abandon our allies in the national Lebanese Opposition ... which stayed solid despite the attempts by ‘Israel', US and their affiliates to split it," Hoballah added.
