Berri: Nasrallah-Hariri reconciliation will come sooner or later

Speaker Nabih Berri was quoted on Monday as saying that the Nasrallah-Hariri reconciliation will happen sooner or later, and that this will positively affect the security situation and reduce tensions.

Al-Hayat newspaper said that visitors to the Speaker reported that this is what he had said, and the paper also said that Berri called on political leaders to stop discussing this issue as if there were obstacles other than security difficulties.

According to the newspaper, Speaker Berri also said that the reconciliations might not influence the electoral alliances, although he also added that he did not reject the fact that it might affect them.
