At a ceremony in the town of Amhaz - the northern Bekaa, marking the passing of a week on the death of Ali Mahdi Amhaz, Hizbullah Consultative Council member Sheikh Mohammed Yazbek confirmed "we are working very hard and seriously with those dedicated on getting Lebanon out of the ordeal, hoping the Lebanese continue on with the reached reconciliations, openness and disclosures, to promote unity and harmony among the nation's sons.

Yazbek criticized the frequent and successive visits of American political and security officials, under the pretext of strengthening the Lebanese army, which the US wants turned into a commodity, wondering whether they want to support the army in order to be able to protect the country from the 'Israeli' enemy, or to oppress people and the resistance.

Sheikh Yazbek stressed that the Americans will not get their way in the next elections, because this proud and loyal people will not sell its dignity for the dollars and gold of the world, nor to please the United States, but works according to its dignity and honour, to preserve its homeland.

He pointed out that through money the Americans money want to get the parliament's majority, in
order to get the outcome that serves their project of taking possession of the country.

Sheikh Yazbek also called on the army and security forces to assume their role of maintaining security, the social and economic reality, and to suppress all and any who, in any way, tamper with the security of our people and folk.
