Hizbullah International Relations Officer Nawwaf Moussawi said on Tuesday that Hizbullah had two tasks to achieve; the first one was strengthening the Resistance's position and the second was to support its alliances to guarantee victory during the parliamentary elections in 2009.

In an interview with Al-Akhbar newspaper, he questioned whether March 14 coalition will remain the same after the elections.

He added that the meeting between Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Future Movement leader MP Saad Hariri on the one hand and Hizbullah and Progressive Socialist party delegations' meeting will be held for sure but they were postponed for security reasons.

On the Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa's call for a Hizbullah delegation to visit Egypt, he said that the relations between the party and Cairo still existed and that they intended to strengthen the Resistance's approach.

On the international ties, he said that he met with a delegation of former officials in the United Nations two weeks ago and evaluated the western policies in the region.

He added that Hizbullah's position was good within the international community.

He also said that a European source told him that ‘Israelis' were now convinced that it was impossible to face Hizbullah military, although the party was ready for all possibilities.
