Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Saniora, believed to head a so-called national unity government, is still insisting on his "precious" views even if they contradict with his cabinet's policy statement as well as the so-called ministerial solidarity principle...

More than two years on Lebanon's victory against the Zionist entity in the ‘Israeli' vehement war against the country in July 2006, Saniora is still unable of admitting it.

‘Israel' itself admitted its defeat and is still paying the price but Lebanon's Prime Minister believes the opposite. The enemy acknowledges Lebanon's resistance has changed the history by causing the most terrible defeat to the Zionist entity since its "creation," but "perseverant" Saniora denies. "No, Lebanon didn't achieve victory in July 2006," he says.

Indeed, for the second time in less than three days, Saniora denies Lebanon and the Resistance actually achieved victory against the Zionist entity. "Lebanon and the Resistance didn't triumph in the July war," Saniora proudly said on Tuesday from the Parliament building. And in an attempt to justify his point of view, Saniora claimed that what Lebanon and the Resistance actually did was that "they prevented ‘Israel' of achieving victory!"

So, Saniora admits ‘Israel' didn't achieve victory... But, unlike the Zionist entity, he finds himself unable of attributing victory to the second side and thus, defeat for ‘Israel'. The result is that, in Saniora's eyes, both sides didn't achieve victory in the mentioned war.

Saniora has announced his stand to the Financial Times on Saturday when he returned backward in history, and said that he considered Hizbullah's act of capturing the two ‘Israeli' soldiers "a miscalculation because this had consequences." He admitted that the ‘Israelis' did not succeed in defeating Lebanon and they did not achieve victory, but "we did not have a victory. We managed to stop them from defeating us, but in the final analysis they ended up occupying part of the country and we had to resort to political means to push them back out of the country," he claimed.
