Hajj Hassan calls on voters to elect candidates based on their policies
Source: nowlebanon.com, 27-10-2008
Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Hussein Hajj Hassan said that the reconciliations currently being negotiated between political factions aimed to reduce tensions without affecting electoral alliances.
In a political meeting organized by Hizbullah on Monday in Baalbek, he called for transparent parliamentary elections and responsible national speech, without propagating sectarian conflicts to guarantee more votes.
He called on voters to choose their representatives according to their political programs.
He also condemned attacks against Christians in Iraq and questioned the Americans' objectives and agendas.
"Why the Arab League did not announce yet its position?" he asked.
