Iranian ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad Rida Shibani said that Tehran welcomed the visit of every patriotic political figure that could carry out a positive role and preserve the national agreement among the people of Lebanon.

After meeting with Head of the Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun in Rabieh, he expected that many Lebanese figures will visit Tehran in the near future and Iranian officials will also visit Beirut.

He added that those official bilateral visits among the brotherly countries will pave the way for closer cooperation.
