Fadlallah predicts internal and foreign policy moves in Lebanon
Source: nowlebanon.com, 28-10-2008
His Eminence Sayyed Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah said upcoming domestic and foreign policy moves in and around Lebanon will pave the way for a stable atmosphere for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Fadlallah said he welcomed all current efforts, "to ease the tensions and to provide a stable political situation that helps prepare the ground for a quiet parliamentary election."
However, the sheikh added that he is, "skeptical regarding the delay in dealing with some issues... among them the four generals [suspected of planning the assassination of Rafik Hariri] issue and other judiciary cases."
"If the process of dealing with the issue [of the four generals] remains ineffective, the Lebanese judiciary will be held accountable for the interests of people and their well being," Fadlallah said.
