Hizbullah hails Egypt΄s Mufti for his nationalistic stands which emphasize Resistance and Jihad option

Hizbullah Arab Relations official, Sheikh Hassan Ezzedin, sent a cable of appreciation to His Eminence the Mufti Sheikh Ali Jomaa, hailing him on his nationalistic and bold stands that will emphasize the option of resistance and Jihad against the occupation aggression and injustice.

It reads as follows:

Your Eminence the Grand Mufti Sheikh Ali Jomaa, may God protect you!
Peace and God's mercy and blessings be upon you,

We, carefully and in depth, read your news meeting with the Lebanese daily As-Safir on 20/10/2008.

We in Hizbullah would like to express our appreciation for your stands, which revealed depth and genuine intellectual and doctrinal spirit of the Shariaa, keeping pace with the times and reaffirming the Al-Azhar's historic role and position in strengthening the nation and closing its ranks to face its enemies.

We also highly appreciate your firm national and bold stands for the nation's most important issues, especially the affirmation of the Arab option of resistance and Jihad against the occupation, aggression and injustice.

Your concern and the efforts you spend for the unity, dignity and pride of the nation, your affirmation of love and loyalty of the people of Egypt to Ahl-al-Bait (Household of the Prophet [PBUH]) to extinguish the seditions stirred by the occupiers of the land of Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Such stands have formed the practical response to all those who sow discord among Muslims and especially between Sunnis and Shiaas.

In conclusion, on behalf of the mujahideen we give you the most sincere congratulations and blessings and to the proud and defiant Arab people of Egypt against normalization of relations and projects of division and domination.

We pray to God Almighty for your success and more victories for the nation in declaring what's right, God Almighty is All-hearing ready to answer.
