The Lebanese Brigades celebrated its anniversary, renewed pledge to remain committed to the resistance option & defense
03/11/2008
The Lebanese ‘Saraya' (Brigades) for Resisting 'Israeli' Occupation issued a statement on its twelfth year anniversary.
In the statement the Saraya renewed its pledge "to the founding leader His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, may God protect him, and to the Lebanese people to whom the Saraya's sacrificing youths belong, expressing with their exceptional cross-national affinity, the highest nationalistic expressions of fraternity and living; registering the most distinctive epics of glory and sacrifice in the hall of honour against the occupation, until its forced-withdrawal from the greater part of our beloved Lebanon and in confronting it during the July 2006 'Israeli' aggression.
This is a pledge of staying firmly committed to the option of resistance and defending the country against the gluttonous enemy."
The statement added "The Lebanese Brigades, while celebrating its anniversary, it misses the martyr leader Hajj Imad Moghnieh, one of the great leaders who oversaw the Saraya journey from its inception until maturity, when it can act as a national bridge, over which the freedom convoy crosses to contribute in shaping the future of the dear homeland."
