Hobballah: US election proved that Bush΄s policy was defeated once again after July War

Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Hassan Hobballah has expressed his surprise with the discussion of Lebanon's defense strategy at the national roundtable dialogue on Wednesday.
In a statement issued Friday, Hobballah said some participants in the dialogue, which was cut short after MP and veteran journalist Ghassan Tueni fell ill, were discussing the details of the defense strategy as though "we were informing our enemy about Lebanon's defense plan."
Some parties had accused Hizbullah of attempting to wage war against "Israel", he added, when the party had called for alert with the aim of defending Lebanon's sovereignty and dignity.
Hobballah also said the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) registered "Israeli" breaches on a daily basis.
And on Tuesday's election of Illinois Democrat Barack Obama as the next US president, Hobballah said the election had proved that outgoing President George W. Bush's policy was defeated "once again" after the July War.
