During a political forum held by Hizbullah in Tyre on Saturday, the party's International Relations Officer, Nawwaf Moussawi, said that Hizbullah was committed to diversity and dialogue among believers. He added, however, that this should "not come at the expense of national and political rights, allow a criminal to represent his religion or equate the attacker with the attacked" during interfaith dialogue.
"The disappearance of "Israel" is not a catchy slogan but a firm goal that we work to achieve. This call is for the removal of a racist regime represented by the state and not the extermination of a people or religion. It is about stopping the attack which has not stopped since the Zionist movement began its project and activities in Palestine and at an international level," he said.
Moussawi said that the Blue Line did not represent the Lebanese border but a technical withdrawal line, with which the Lebanese state had registered reservations. Moussawi said he feared the Blue Line would become a de facto border with legal status, and thereby become internationally recognized.
