Hizbullah international relations officer Nawwaf Moussawi described British Foreign Minister David Miliband's statements in Lebanon as "nothing new" and slammed the British government for "violating the law."

In an interview with the BBC's Arabic service on Thursday, Moussawi said he recalled that "the British government violated the law by opening civilian airports to aircrafts carrying military equipment, missiles and cluster bombs used by "Israel" to kill civilians in the American-"Israeli" aggression on Lebanon in July and August, 2006. "

Moussawi also said it was the right of Lebanese victims' families to sue the British government for state terrorism.
In response to a question, Moussawi also said, "It seems that the British official has not yet given up his colonial occupation orientation that views ... resistance as an act of terrorism."

Moussawi compared the British Foreign Secretary's statements to Nazi propaganda and reiterated his party's pride in the military wing of Hizbullah.
On the relationship between the UK and Hizbullah, Moussawi said that since British forces occupied Iraq, his party had stopped all contact with the UK.
